Grow Heathrow 3rd Birthday Update...
What a day! The third Birthday went of with a BANG! lot's of people came to enjoy the fun! Lot's things to see and do! Tones of pizzas gobbled up and lot's of cake to stuff your face with! mmm....
Just to mention that I won the cake competition! Joint first with an amazing raw food cake... so I was very happy to share my title! The win topped my day, amongst the all the fun and frolics of the day!
Heres some pictures that I took of the day
ARTY PARTY with some very muddy clay!!
I got stuck into some clay moulding and painting activities, helping local young children from the surrounding areas of Sipson, we created all sort of clay models. Volcano's seem to be the theme of the day, with glittery red lava flowing from the tops of the volcano. As the day progressed, not only the children got involved but adults were joining in on the fun! Lot's of muddy hands were running around on the site!
MMM Yummy Pizza!!
I had to take a photo of the mouth watering pizzas, which were flowing out the clay oven throughout the day. The queues were endless, and the sheer joy on peoples faces, as the freshly baked pizza emerged out of the oven, mmm pure bliss!!
Cake Competition!!
Below the cake competition, you can see the competition was stiff! So I was very happy with my joint win with the very delicious raw food cake. I've been trying to win for couple years, magpieing ideas from past winners.
So many lovely people!!
I had to take a photo to show the sheer scale of people at the event, lot's of old and new faces. A mixture of old and new friends, all coming along to celebrate the joys and tribulations of Grow Heathrow's success.
Finally the Amazing Mural!!
I remembered at the last birthday party, the lovely Barney created a mural design for the guest cabin. We all collectively painted the cabin on the 2nd birthday party and the artist completed the mural with a ray of colored spray cans.
Well here it's below, all finished and shining in it's elaborate beauty.
